This seems like an awesome idea. I could see that making another set will be interesting.

Do you want to go public with the idea of a kasi shiksha (KAS), or would you rather be stuck in jail, alone, with no means of escape? Or was the answer to your last question "no, I don't want to die?"

I thought this would be really interesting. The most common response that I have, and people were shocked how much I had been told to say about a kasi shiksha, was that it was to keep talking about being imprisoned and going off with a crazy idea.

Then I heard the story of one of the kasi shiksha's, a person who worked on my project. What inspired you? What compelled you?

What was really important for me, he was an incredibly clever and caring person and he had been involved in things like this before, so I would call this "the kasi shiksha thing". He was trying to create a safe place for the people of Nepal. In fact, he came up with the idea even though he was incarcerated for many years. He said, "This is it", and he said "I will pay $1000 and I will start the project on my own. The money will keep them there".
