We've put together a short version of how to set up a single USB hub in your house—simplify troubleshooting, set up multiple computers in a home, and keep all your equipment securely secured.

So how does it work?

If you have multiple Windows-based systems, you might already have some trouble connecting them all.

Because Windows, if you have two Windows-based PCs on two different networks, could be a major issue, you may not need to connect your Windows 8 computer directly.

Instead, just follow the instructions below and let your Windows system communicate through both PCs using your USB cable.

Connect all your connected computer to your network using Windows Internet Explorer and Windows 10 by following this guide: USB Hub Setup and Connecting Your Windows 8 PC.

Step 1: Set up the USB hub by selecting USB Hub Options on the right. In the Options menu, choose Device Type and USB hub settings.

Now choose the USB Hub. On the menu, click the button called "Set up your computer."

While that process is active and waiting for your computer to connect you're ready to connect both computers.

Step 2: As Windows continues to communicate with your computer, add Windows® 7 to your list. Once the computer is connected, it should communicate with you (by pressing the "Connect" button). If not, you'll need
